Survey of Contemporary Jewish Initiatives
The 2022 SCJI will provide much-needed data on the global landscape of new and innovative Jewish projects and organizations. The project builds on previous studies of Jewish organizations and communities founded in the 21st century and their leaders. Jumpstart has joined forces with Kenissa: Communities of Meaning Network to launch the 2022 Survey of Contemporary Jewish Initiatives. This study is the long-awaited follow up to Jumpstart’s breakthrough studies that resulted in the Innovation Ecosystem (2009) and Innovation Economy (2011) reports. This study seeks to provide up-to-date analysis and tools for the broader Jewish community to better understand, and hopefully support, the work of these new organizations and their constituents.
If you lead one of these organizations, please register to receive a survey link and participate in this important study. We also invite people who work for, volunteer at, or participate in Jewish initiatives founded in the 21st century to nominate an organization for participation.
Respondents are leaders of these initiatives (the most senior one – such as the executive director or CEO – one per organization). If you lead a qualifying initiative, please register below to receive a link to the survey when it goes live. By “initiative” we mean a project, an independent organization, or an independent program within an existing organization. All answers and comments provided by respondents will remain 100% anonymous. As with Jumpstart’s previous studies, the survey data is treated in the strictest confidence and results are reported only in the aggregate. If you have any questions, please send an email to survey@jumpstartlabs.org.
