WAR AGAINST UKRAINE EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Crisis in Ukraine Emergency ResponseRussia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine has created a human calamity on a scale unseen in recent history. Ukrainians are under siege, increasingly without clean water, electricity, phone, internet, food, and medicine. Millions of refugees are trying to get out, streaming into neighboring countries, and under threat. This is the largest movement of refugees since World War II. Jumpstart is providing fast-track approval to fiscally sponsor new projects seeking to help the Ukrainian people and those who are helping them, especially projects finding innovative ways to communicate, coordinate, collaborate, and fund relief efforts.

COVID-19 Pandemic Urgent Response

As the pandemic shift to endemic, there are still communities and nonprofits disproportionately hit by the medical crisis and economic effects of COVID-19. Emergencies always catalyze creative charitable responses to help people in need and support those on the front lines of the fight to save lives.

Racial Justice Urgent Response

Public concern and social responses such as the Black Lives Matters movement have created increased awareness of issues of systemic racism and injustice. The widespread need for change always catalyzes creative charitable responses to help people in need and support communal responses to create a more just, inclusive, and equitable world.

Gender Equity Urgent Response

The #MeToo movement has revealed the pervasive nature of gender-based discrimination and harassment in the workplace. The widespread need for change always catalyzes creative charitable responses to help people in need and support communal responses to create a more just, inclusive, and equitable world.

Jumpstart’s fiscal sponsorship platform is open for fast-track applications for new ways to deal with the effects of the crisis in Ukraine, COVID-19 and its impact on our community, to deal create responses to fight racism and its effects on society, as well as efforts to fight for safety, respect, and equity in the workplace.
